Are there any women-only checkup days (Ladies' Day)?
We do not have a Ladies' Day, but we do have a Ladies' Hour* exclusively for female customers. All internal medicine examinations, breast and gynecological examinations are handled by female doctors and technicians. Please note that some endoscopies (gastrocamera examinations) and stomach X-rays (barium) may be handled by male doctors or staff.
*Male patients may be admitted at the doctor's discretion. (When admitting patients, we will give maximum consideration to traffic flow and timing.)
*The Dog Center's ladies' hour is every Wednesday morning (8:00-12:00).
However, after 12:30, you may be sharing the waiting area with male customers arriving from 13:00.
Ladies Hour at the Health Screening Center will be held on the afternoon of the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month (13:30-17:00).
I have a blood test, why do I have to be hungry?
Triglyceride and blood sugar levels rise with food. These are also diagnostic criteria for metabolic syndrome, so we ask you to take the test on an empty stomach.
Is there anything I should be careful about regarding my diet the day before a health check?
The time you should refrain from eating will vary depending on the test item, but as long as you leave a 10 hour gap, there will be no problem.
Please tell me the payment method

Are your gynecologists female?
Health checkups and medical examinations are conducted by female doctors.
Are there any dietary restrictions?
If you are undergoing a gastric X-ray (barium test), gastroscopy, abdominal ultrasound, upper abdominal CT scan, or blood test, there will be dietary restrictions. For details, please contact us or check the "Examination Precautions" that will be sent to you in advance.
Can I transcribe it onto the designated form to be submitted to my employer?
Please let us know when you make your reservation and send us the required form by email or fax. We will review the form and decide whether we can accommodate your request and the transcription fee. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate your request if you do not notify us in advance.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
If you have a preferred date, we recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible. Please note that appointments may be filled up several months in advance. Depending on your health insurance association, you may be required to apply for a consultation in advance, so please make your reservation well in advance.
There are two purposes for undergoing a medical checkup. One is to detect serious, life-threatening illnesses early. The other is to become healthier. Even if you think you are healthy, there may be some illness hidden. It is clear that the sooner you detect an illness and start treatment, the sooner you will recover.
It is now said that one in two men and one in three women will develop cancer, and considering the increase in cancer incidence in recent years, we are entering an era in which it is not surprising that anyone could develop cancer.
We recommend a check-up once a year
The level of modern medical technology has become quite high. Therefore, if you undergo a medical checkup at least once a year, you can detect signs of illness early, and even if a serious illness is found, there is a possibility that some kind of treatment can be done. However, if you go without an examination for years and visit the hospital after the illness has progressed, it may be difficult to treat.
Many people don't go to the hospital even if they feel unwell. Tokyo Midtown Clinic believes it is important to check your health condition regularly, and recommends that you visit the hospital once a year.
