Smoking cessation treatment schedule

1. At first visit

During your first consultation, we will examine you, explain about smoking cessation treatment, perform a carbon monoxide concentration test (※), and prescribe a topical medication (a patch).

*What is a carbon monoxide concentration test?

Carbon monoxide is a typical harmful substance found in cigarette smoke. You can measure the concentration of this harmful substance by simply exhaling into the machine for about 20 seconds. When you quit smoking, the carbon monoxide concentration in your breath decreases, so you can feel the effects of quitting smoking by comparing the results of each test.

2. Visiting the hospital

After that, please visit the hospital according to the schedule. Carbon monoxide concentration tests and oral medication will be administered at each visit.

3. Final visit

The program ends in 12 weeks! You will also be able to review your lifestyle habits to prevent you from smoking again.

When you make your reservation, please let us know that you would like to receive smoking cessation treatment.
