In-hospital infection control

In-hospital infection control

Infection control

Some patients may be concerned about the risk of infection, including the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). At our clinic, we take measures to prevent infection with various viruses and bacteria on a daily basis. We are also taking thorough measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus disease.

COVID-19 infection control measures

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, our clinic has installed new ceiling-mounted air purifiers and chairs* with excellent hygiene features.

We are working to reduce the risk of infection from every angle, including "controlling the air throughout the clinic," "sterilizing and disinfecting equipment," and "preventing droplet infection."

Ceiling-mounted air purifier removes 99.95% of viruses

In-hospital infection control

Our clinic is equipped with ceiling-mounted air purifiers designed for medical facilities, which distribute clean air throughout the clinic.

The air purifier has excellent processing capacity and can remove 99.95% of viruses. It also actively removes PM2.5 as well as PM0.1, circulating clean air to keep the clinic a clean space at all times.

In-hospital infection control

The ceiling-mounted air purifier "Medical Light Air" is equipped with multiple excellent filters, making it possible to remove even the smallest viruses and dust particles.

It is also equipped with a photocatalytic filter, and its intricate structure allows it to efficiently capture polluted air and even remove odors typical of disinfectants and medical facilities.

Extraoral vacuum for sucking up fine dust

In-hospital infection control

We have installed highly functional extraoral vacuums to prevent patients from inhaling the fine dust generated when grinding teeth and from getting water on their faces.

Our clinic has adopted several "Free Arm Arteo" units.* This dental suction device is highly effective in preventing infection within the clinic.

Vacuum hoses are automatically cleaned after each patient appointment

In-hospital infection control

Daily cleaning of vacuum hoses and drains is very important as bacteria can grow inside them.
The newly introduced chair unit is thoroughly cleaned with a special cleaning solution after each patient appointment, making it highly effective in terms of hygiene*.

Check for cold symptoms

In-hospital infection control

We will ask you to take your temperature and fill out a medical questionnaire at the entrance to our clinic so that we can check if you have cold symptoms.

Installation of alcohol-based hand sanitizer (for patients)

In-hospital infection control

To prevent the virus from being brought into the examination room, patients will be asked to disinfect their hands at the reception desk.

Thorough hygiene management

In-hospital infection control

Dentists, dental hygienists, and other staff who come into direct contact with patients wear masks, medical gloves, and goggles. In addition, we practice strict hygiene management, such as washing and disinfecting our hands.

Sterile medical equipment

In-hospital infection control

We use sterile treatment tools for each patient. Rotary cutting tools and 3-way (air and water) syringe tips are replaced with sterilized ones as needed, and examination tables (unit chairs) are disinfected with alcohol. Paper cups, trays, and aprons that patients use to rinse their mouths are disposable.
